Revenge is sweet.
Emma Hastings has tried all her life to fit in. Throwing off her awkward high school years to become a member of a prestigious sorority at Wellbridge University, she has her sisters at her side, and the future spread out before her for the taking. Her senior year of college should be filled with parties, studying, and sweating between the sheets before she goes to medical school.
One night at a party changes everything. Dominoes collapse as quickly as they’re erected. Suddenly, everyone has something to gain and everything to lose.
Love is sweeter.
Jason Gould will never fit in so he doesn’t even try. Content to stay on the periphery of society, he works hard, plans for his future, and keeps to himself. His senior year should be filled with early morning shifts, gym sessions to keep his pent-up anger under control, and readying himself to face the rest of his life alone.
One ray of sunshine refuses to let him fall into darkness. Emma refuses to leave his side no matter what is thrown at them.
When a woman who is dying to fit in joins forces with a man who never will, they just may find they fit together in ways neither could have ever imagined, and they’ll discover a life well-loved is the sweetest revenge of all.

EXCERPT:
The crowd parts as a lone figure stalks out from one of the side rooms. A nondescript gray hoodie covers his face, but from the few gasps of those closest to the action, they know who he is. When he makes it to the center of the ring to stand by Kieran, Rosie and I use each other as leverage to perch on our toes for a better view.
Slowly, almost as if he both dreads and relishes this part, Jason lowers the hood, exposing his face to the crowd. Just as jeers break out, he continues to disrobe until he’s wearing nothing but a pair of faded, ripped jeans.
Silence descends on the basement.
“Oh my God,” Rosie breathes. “I don’t even like dick, but my panties are absolutely drenched right now.”
I can’t get my lungs working enough to respond, but I concur. All his time in the gym has paid off in dividends. Every inch of Jason’s torso is corded with thick muscle. He could give any of the football team, wrestling team, basketball team…hell, any team a run for their money.

Sometimes you need
to let yourself fall…Recently divorced Sienna Porter has the life she’s supposed to. A house,
career, even a hot young contractor working upstairs to distract her. At
thirty-eight, she’s entitled to a little fun (according to her best friend,
anyway).
Pain, though— it’s so clever in the way it infects hope and poisons happiness.
Jace Beckett should be flying high. Talented, driven, and disciplined, he’s far
beyond his twenty-three years. He’s used to the game, the attention his looks
and highly-trained body get from women. Doesn’t mean he likes to play.
Doesn’t mean his own secrets aren’t intent on tearing him down.
It’s just a fling. Sexy. Temporary. It’s not supposed to last. It’s not
supposed to transform into love. It’s certainly not supposed to become the air
you breathe and everything worth fighting for.
I like to eradicate barriers, refusing to be confined by the laws of physics or
limitations of reality. I will befriend a vast population of possibilities and
introduce them in ways that might surprise you.

Deep breath. Wow, talk about book hangover. It will take me a while to shake the effects of this book. This is not your typical love story. This is the love a mother has for her son, her husband, and her family after extreme tragedy strikes. Natalie is trying to tread water after the loss of her husband. Unfortunately this leaves her oldest son, Beck to pick up the slack and help parent his two younger siblings. Guilt compounded with this enormous responsibility leads Beck down a dark path. This is the story of that dark path and how Natalie, as his helpless mother, had to watch and deal with it too. Do not read this book unless you are ready for the book hangover you will be left with. Simply powerful and moving! (Review by Terri “Jane”)

This book gutted me….even as I type this review, I have a tremendous amount of emotion that moves through me and I am in this book, in these words all over again. There are times in this story, that you fight to breath, you see yourself in the words, you see the epidemic of drugs hitting every family and its brutality in Beck and Natalie’s life. You see flashes of their old life, what brought them to present day, to the guilt and destruction of a family.
I see a mom, who gave up for a time when things got too rough to function. I see myself, if I had to endure something just as horrendous. I see a son who feels guilt and anger, and looks for relief in drugs when he thinks he cannot find it anywhere else.
This book makes you cry, makes your heart stop, makes you rethink everything you once believed about family and drugs, but it also makes you understand the power of love. Love of a mother, love of a son and the need to fight for that love.-Review by Catherine(Catty)

Wow this book is super intense, powerful, dark and twisty.
What happens when an extremely damaged and addictive personality falls in love with quasi-sociopath? You get this extremely amazing, yet crazy and dysfunctional love story.
Emma has been so beaten and broken down by any and everyone in her life that all she wants is some form of love. She is looking for something to prove that she is worthy. When she meets Paul “Church” Logan she quickly recognizes the damage pieces in him too and is drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
When Church finds Emma he discovers absolute perfection to compliment his dark and twisted desires. Church being a master manipulator takes Emma’s addiction to him and uses it for his own personal fantasies.
Like a car accident you can turn your head from, Church will keep you captivated with the intense, disturbing, and irrational relationship created between Emma and Church.
This is not a typical romance and definitely not for the faint of heart. (Review by Terri “Jane”)

I am still laughing my butt off! I loved so much about this book. This is the first time I have read a book where almost every time the main couple where finally going to hook up it was more like real life and something hilarious happens to kill the mood or they try to powered through it.
Sophie and Doug are amazing. Their banter and chemistry is so much fun. Although Sophie has always found Doug extremely good looking, in the five years that they have known each other Doug has consistently tried to hook up with Sophie, too bad he has had a tendency to be an immature “douche.” Lol. Yes, Doug does tend to be childish, but it grows on you, then you see his more vulnerable side and you totally fall for him.
Sophie is to scarred from abandonment issues that no matter how her feelings grow for Doug, letting him in is simply something she refuses to do.
You will love every page of this book. The way Sophie and Doug fight their attraction and the extremely funny way they tend to almost have sex will have you laughing so hard. (Review by Terri “Jane”)
Series: Church Duet #1

I did something I had never done before.
I had a one-night stand.
Then in true me fashion, I left my phone at his house during my desperate venture to escape.
I tried hard to ignore the texts sent to my best friend’s phone…
Amethyst: Sup, these selfies are cute as shit, but your lips looked better wrapped around my…
I did NOT text him back.
I DID vow to never speak of him, or that night again…
I’m Amethyst Lily Tatum, and up until this point, I’d managed to maintain a fairly low-key life. I’m what you would call a socially unacceptable hot mess. Instead of partying, I’m skating, flipping ollie’s over guys who loved to underestimate me. Then I started college, met a wild girl who I would soon call my best-friend, had my first drunk one-night stand, left my phone at his house, and then, when I finally managed to meet my mom’s new boyfriend, I found out that my one-night stand, was now my new stepbrother.

Synopsis
What if all you want is the one thing you can’t have?
First grade teacher Emily Towson always does the right thing. The sensible thing. But in her dreams, she does bad, bad things with the town’s baddest boy: Tanner O’Connor. But when he sells her grandmother a Harley, fantasy is about to meet a dose of reality.
And then he goes and calls her “sensible”…
Tanner can’t believe sweet Emily is standing in his shop. Yelling and waving her hands and looking so god damn sexy he’s having trouble focusing. He’d spent two hard years in prison, with only the thought of this “good girl” to keep him sane.
He really should send her away…
Before either one thinks though, they’re naked and making memories on his tool bench with apparently the oldest condom in history. Now Tanner’s managed to knock-up the town’s “good girl” and she’s going to lose her job over some stupid “morality clause” if he doesn’t step up.
But can this bad boy teach his good girl they’re perfect for each other in time?

Excerpt:
“Tanner.”
Just the way she said his name, sort of breathless, made him hard. He nodded.“Emily.”
“What are you doing here?” Her eyes narrowed.“Did you follow me?”
“You looked a little upset. I was just making sure no one else followed you.”
“You mean Ryan? He’s being a total pain in the…”
“Ass?”
“Yes.” She pressed her finger to the spot between her brows.“I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m usually so…” She took a couple of deep breaths.“He was making me so angry.”
“I thought he was your boyfriend?”
“Not anymore. It’s over between me and Ryan. It was over before that night you and I…”
He decided to help her out.“Had hot, dirty sex on top of the workbench in my garage. Then up against the wall in my garage.”
She gritted her teeth but gave a quick nod.
“Why was it over with Mr. Perfect? Did he finish with you?” Maybe she’d needed some sort of affirmation of herself as a sexy woman. He wanted to beat Ryan for that, though he had ultimately benefited from it.
“None of your business.”
“Come on, Em. I’m curious.”
Her face took on a mutinous expression, lips pursed.“He said I was sensible and then he asked me to marry him.”
Tanner managed to choke back the laugh, but she must have seen it on his face.
“It’s not funny.”
He’d proposed? That made Tanner want to growl. But she had a point. It sounded as though Ryan had fucked up on the proposal. Tanner certainly wasn’t sorry. Ryan’s loss, his gain.“Let me get this straight. If he hadn’t called you sensible, you would have said yes?”
“Probably not. He told me he’d decided it was time to settle down, and I was a nice, sensible woman, and would make him a suitable wife. Or something like that. I sort of stopped listening at ‘sensible.’What sort of man starts a proposal by saying you’re sensible?”
“An asshole?”
“Yes. Exactly. I said I didn’t think we were suited and walked out. Then when I got home, Mimi told me she’d bought a bike from you, and then she more than hinted that I was sensible, too. So when you said it as well, I just…sort of blew.”
“Actually, you kissed me, then you stripped, then you threw yourself at me. I didn’t stand a chance.” He had an image of her standing naked in front of him, challenging him to do something, and almost groaned.
“I did not throw myself at you.”
He just stood there, one eyebrow raised.
She folded her arms across her chest.“Anyway.I thought you were pretending that never happened?”
“Believe me, I’m trying. But I keep getting these little flashbacks at the most inappropriate times. Like when I’m picking up a tool from my work bench and there you are, all soft and naked and panting for me.”
Why did he do this to himself? His dick was almost painfully hard.
She was staring at him wide-eyed, her pink lips slightly parted. She didn’t move. He cast a quick look around the street—it was empty—then he closed the space between them, lowered his head, and kissed her before she could even have an idea of his intentions. He half expected her to pull back and run away, but her lips softened, then parted under his, and he slipped his tongue inside, sliding it along the length of hers. He kissed her until they both ran out of air. He hadn’t thought kissing was such a big deal, but he could kiss Emily all night.
About Nina:
Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, Nina Croft spent a lot of time huddled under the blankets dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When she discovered both could be found between the covers of a book, her life changed forever.
At the age of eighteen, in an attempt to turn dreams into reality, she headed south in search of the sun. She quickly picked up the perfect husband along the way, and developed a taste for red wine and holidays in warm places.
Soon holidays weren’t enough, and together they volunteered to work in Africa where they both discovered a love of traveling and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward they spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever the money ran out.) Eventually they stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain where they bought the small almond farm they now call home.
No electricity, no neighbors, no chocolate shops, but on the plus side, stunning scenery, a vineyard to make her own red wine, and far enough away from anywhere to satisfy Nina’s hermit tendencies. She shares the farm with her husband, and an ever increasing number of animals, including Piggles, a three-legged Vietnamese pot-bellied pig.
Nina now spends her days riding her mare Gencianna under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. She reckons this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.
She still travels, but usually only in her imagination, and can often be found lying under a fig tree, wine in hand, plotting stories of love in faraway places.
Nina believes love can come to anyone, anytime, anywhere and her books reflect this.
