This is more of a 3.5 stars for me.
I must say that it did take me a while to get into this one. While I loved Claire and Aiken to pieces, and I my heart bled for Claire’s loss, I had a hard time becoming invested in their love and their story. I really had a hard time with Aiken’s past and his mommy issues (and her issues with the world). This is a hard one to review, in that it is a very good book, with lots of ups and downs. But in the end, I found myself caring more about Claire and Aiken and wishing that all the other drama (which I normally can’t get enough of), would simply go away. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll come back and definitely check out more of what Rachel has to offer. (Review by Terri “Jane”)

*****Giving this book a 3.5 STAR Rating****
I found the book to be emotional in some parts but sometimes it would lose me in others, I felt a little disconnected. I will reread this book again to see if I can find a better connection with the characters, since Rachel Blaufeld did such a great job weaving a storyline. I don’t know if it was just my own missed connection or because of a prior story I read before, that is why I am going to read this one again, because the story was beautiful, it was just my connection with the characters. So this was just my response to the why I received the story and characters, and that will not be the same for everyone.-Review by Catherine(Catty)
