Reviews of Traded: Brady & Kara by Tess Thompson

This is actually a 3.5 stars for me. I’ll start with everything I loved about this book and that was the characters! All of them. Brody and Kara are the main characters of this book and they are perfection. Brody is an all-american, good boy, super-bowel winning, all star professional quarter back. Kara is a sexy, smart, courageous and upstanding nurse who has to make a complete break with her old life and start over again. The chemistry and banter is off the charts. But it’s not just them, it’s all of the surrounding characters; Brody’s best friends, Jackson and Tyler, his manager Honor, his mother Janet, second mother Flora…on and on. The character development is out of this world.

My main drawback is completely personal in that with such great characters and build up I was hoping for a lot more hot and sexy time between Brody and Kara. Again, this is just a personal preference, but when I got to the end and was expecting super hot fireworks, it was more a fade to black moment. Great story, up to you if this makes any difference in what you want to read. I hope you enjoy. (review by Terri “Jane”)

I really enjoyed the story, learning the ins and outs of what makes Brody and Kara, the sweetness and caring of the characters mixed with some great intrigue and suspense. It only drew the characters closer together and brought us along for the ride. I wanted to see a tad bit more steaminess, because I felt it was missing, that there were places I felt it was going to go there and I missed the chances and circumstances when it didn’t, that is my only down fall about what I read. But still a great read and I will read the next one in the series.-Review by Catherine(Catty)
