Review of What He Always Knew by Kandi Steiner

*** ARC Received for Honest Review ***

WOW! I love this book because it felt like real life. It is sad, and uncompromising, it’s messy and it is so true to how sometimes life just happens. You want to be a certain person. You expect that you would act a certain way. Then life happens. Tragedy hits. Other behave in a way that you hadn’t anticipated and you find yourself in a situation you never expected.

This is what happens to Charlie, Cameron, and Reece. True life is sometimes ugly, messy and hurts so bad. Hopefully you weather the storm and come out the other side stronger.

Trust me, read the duet! You must read What He Doesn’t Know first, but both books are completely worth it. I find myself asking, what would I do in that circumstance? How would I choose? This one just got me on such an emotional level. If you want to read something “real” then you MUST pick up this duet immediately. Move it to the top of your TBR list. (Review by Terri “Jane”)

****HOLY HELL 5 STARS****
****ARC Received for Honest Review(even though I would have given one of my kidneys of this whole duet)****

This whole duet guts and filets you and sews you back together. I am not a giver of spoils, so I will just beguile you of how awesome and amazing this book and the first book is and how the duet is a MUST READ. I don’t know what is up with Kandi and her obsession with wanting to bring me to tears, but the broad is winning…and I cried my way through both books in this duet.

I enjoy most Kandi books, but this whole duet is not an average book, and I won’t even call it a book anymore, it’s art and a good cleansing of the soul. It’s intense, beautiful, and crippling in moments, when you are rooting for Cameron or Reese or just for Charlie to find her way. You find yourself in the words that are spilled across the page, in some hidden place, and this duet tugs at you, pulls that emotion from you, when you didn’t even know it was there.

Man….READ THIS DUET!!!!-Review by Catherine(Catty)
