4.5 stars I became a fan of Sunniva while reading her Pornstar Boyfriend series. This has a small crossover with the most recent book in that series. Sunniva is the best at writing about taboo relationships, and this is no exception. Gioele and Silvina are cousins who have been in love since childhood. Their interest in each growing as they grew, until the family started to notice and explained in no uncertain terms how “wrong” their feelings were becoming. They have spent years fighting the attraction. The growing mafia war with another family has brought everything to a head and now Gioele and Silvina have to decide what means more to them. This book is exceptional! It is action packed, full of extreme, taboo chemistry between Gioele and Silvina and overall super sexiness. You can’t go wrong picking up this one. This incredible and so freaking taboo story of two cousins, who fall in love and are also part of mafia families, is so wrong but oh so right. My bestie has raved about Sunniva and how she loves to ride the line and make the line feel right, and she was not a liar. This is the second book in the Mafia series, but can be read as a stand alone, like I read it. But, I will be reading book 1, since book 2 was completely LEGIT.-Review by Catherine(Catty |
