Review of An Imperfect Heart by Amie Knight

My first Amie Knight book and man…..I was loving every emotional up and down moment of it. I don’t know what I was expecting from this book, but this was not it, and I mean that in the best way possible. It was so great to see a woman who is pregnant by another man, who is not in the picture, but who loves her child and wants nothing but for this baby to be born healthy and safe.
Finding out that her baby has a serious medical condition, Kelly Porter is scheduled to see a specialists/cardiologist who can give her daughter a chance.
Her cardiologist happens to be Anthony, who seems to not only care for the patient but the mother too.-Review by Catherine(Catty)

This was such an unanticipated surprise for me. Like Cat, this was my first Amie Knight book, but it definitely won’t be my last. This has a little of everything. There is the one that got away/second chance romance; tug at the heart strings high risk pregnancy; almost friend-zoning.

Kelly thought she was a wild child, who was never going to settle down. She simply wanted to tour with her band, play the drums and go where the wind blew her. Motherhood was not something she was even considering.

Anthony is a highly regarded neonatal cardiologist. His biggest regret was messing up the most perfect night and letting the possible “one” get away. Until more than a decade later she is back.

This is one that I couldn’t put down. I was quickly drawn into their world and their relationship. (Review by Terri “Jane”)
