Review of Faded Gray Lines by Cora Kenborn

I did not read the first book in the series Blurred Lines, and I wish I did. I think I would have enjoyed this book much more, and really been able to figure things out much quicker if I had as well. So, that being said, I would not consider this book as a stand alone novel and it would be consider in my opinion dependent on reading the first book. But, even with me not reading book one, I really enjoyed Cora’s writing. I loved her characters Mateo and Leighton. Their relationship being so complex, gritty and dangerous.

This is a book that is a great book in its own right, after I dug into the first couple of chapters and got my footing, but if you read book  one, I think this would push this book up to 4/5 STARS.-Review by Catherine(Catty)
