My first Cherry book, and I must say….woman, where have you been all my life? I really felt a great connection with Grace. I think we all have been in a similar situation as her, maybe not in a marriage, but with a man who you want back so badly and nothing you do or say ca bring them back…..so you resign yourself to the good old saying,”to get over someone, you have to get under someone.”. Enter Jackson, and he is perfect for what she needs, emotionally disconnected, willing to give Grace the physical connection she needed while she figured her next steps out with her husband who left her. She is so emotionally screwed up and Jackson is so emotionally unavailable because of his own life long struggles in the town they both grew up in.
The problem happens when the sex becomes too much….when it is not enough….when the line they drew, starts to blur and bend…where will they find themselves then?-Review by Catherine(Catty)
