What an amazing end to this beautiful duet….Aly Martinez really did me in with this duet….I was on the edge the whole time, anxiously waiting what the next sentence held, what the next paragraph she had written would do to my heart and if the next page would truly do me in. I escaped reading this duet without major damage, might need a bit of therapy.
This is not a stand alone but the second book in a duet, so don’t read this unless you have read the first, The Truth about Lies. I will not give anything away but I will just explain why I loved this book so much….Aly writes characters that are so beautifully flawed, broken and lost. To see the story develop one the time period of the duet, see the struggle, the pain, the love, overcoming loss, forgiving the guilt, and struggling with the broken, it was beautiful. This duet as a whole is one click worthy-Review by Catherine(Catty)
